Kaari Yaadein/کاری یادیں

This intricate and emotionally charged project aims to highlight the grim realities of honour killing. The burden of a community's honour falls on the women, often leading to their brutal deaths. This artwork consists of two projects; the first of which revolved around men who killed their wives in the name of honour, and the second being a diptych telling the stories of women who were victims of honour killing, on the song 'Kaari Kaari' by Qurat ul Ain Balouch.
